This policy explains what TRICHIOS FOODS PRIVATE LIMITED ("Trichios", "we") collects when you use trichios.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

What we collect
When you place an order — your name, delivery address, email address and phone number, the contents of your order, and the payment method used.
When you pay — payment is handled entirely by our payment partner. Card numbers, UPI PINs, netbanking credentials and CVVs never reach us and are never stored on our systems. We see only whether a payment succeeded and a reference number for it.
When you contact us — the message you send, on email or WhatsApp, and whatever you choose to include in it.
When you sign up for updates — your email address, and which product category you asked to be notified about.
When you browse — your device type, browser, approximate location derived from your IP address, the pages you viewed and how you arrived. This is collected by cookies and similar technologies.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Why we collect it
- To take, pack, ship and deliver your order
- To contact you about that order, including confirming payment and sending tracking
- To handle refunds, replacements and courier claims
- To answer your questions
- To send you product news, but only if you asked for it
- To keep the tax and accounting records we are required by law to keep
- To understand which pages and products people find useful, so we can improve the site
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of service providers, each of which sees only what it needs:

These providers are bound to use your information only to provide their service to us. Our data is stored on Shopify's servers, which are located outside India; where information is transferred abroad it is protected by the contractual terms we have with each provider.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart working between pages, to remember you if you have an account, and to measure traffic. You can block cookies in your browser settings — the cart and checkout will stop working correctly if you do.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for eight years, which is the period Indian tax law requires. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Support conversations are kept for two years.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what information about you we hold
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your information, except records we are legally required to keep
- stop sending you marketing — every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also simply reply and ask

Security
We use HTTPS across the site and rely on Shopify's PCI-compliant infrastructure for the checkout. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not store payment credentials ourselves, which removes the most sensitive category of data from our hands entirely.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on this page.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, write to trichiosofficial@gmail.com and we will respond. You also have the right to complain to the relevant Indian data protection authority.
